Add Questions

Questions and question groups can be added to the content of any lesson or assessment.

• You can insert single questions or question groups using content editor components.

• The question or question group will appear in the lesson or assessment where the component is added.

• After you have added a question to a lesson or assessment, the lesson or assessment will be listed for that question in the question bank.

• You can also “add a question” to a skill, but that’s different.

Add a Question Component

In the content editor’s menu, click to include a question component.

A dialog will appear with three options:

• create a new multiple choice question to add
• create a new short answer question to add
• select an existing question to add

The question you add will appear where the cursor is positioned in the text editor.

Click to enter preview mode to see how your question will appear.

Add a Question Group Component

In the content editor’s menu, click to include a question group component.

Choose from a list of existing question groups. (Unlike with the single question component, you cannot create a question group from the component - only add an existing one.)
