Users

In general, there are three types of Course Builder users:

• Course Authors
• Technical Admins
• Developers

Course Authors

A course author designs and creates the content of the course and manages student interactions.

Technical Admins

Technical Admins are responsible for setting up and managing Course Builder on Google App Engine.

You should be or should plan on becoming familiar with the following:

• Google App Engine
• Google Developers Console
• Course Builder Dashboard settings

Technical admins do not have to be programmers, but the following skills will be helpful:

• HTML
• JavaScript including JavaScript arrays, simple objects, and regular expressions
• Python
