Ongoing requirements for existing Certified GEG Leaders

Stay active in the leader community

To maintain active Certified GEG Leader status, leaders need to recertify yearly by submitting an updated application showcasing their yearly plans and commitment to the program.

Leaders are required to submit a brief annual plan outlining their goals and proposed events for the year, ensuring a minimum of one event per quarter to keep their community engaged.

After hosting an event, leaders should use the Activity App to submit a post-event activity.

Maintaining an active and informative Google Site (Template will be provided by Google for Education Community Team) is crucial for sharing resources, promoting events, and fostering a vibrant online community.

For consistency and brand identity, leaders should utilize their official GEG email alias when creating and sharing content related to their GEG community.

All Certified GEG Leaders must adhere to the program's terms of service to ensure alignment with community guidelines and program standards.
