Any student can shape the future
More than 65% of young people will work in jobs that don’t exist yet—building new technology, advancing artificial intelligence, and designing better ways to analyze data. To succeed in careers across industries, all students need a solid foundation in computer science skills and experience using technology today.
And yet, our research with Gallup has revealed critical inequities in access to computer science education. We are working to address these gaps to give all students—from grade to grad school—the tools, skills, and inspiration to feel confident working with technology.
Google’s CS First curriculum introduces students to coding through themes such as music, fashion, and game design.
Google’s educator PD grant initiatives provide support for professional development programs, creating a lasting impact for computer science educators around the world.
Our Applied Digital Skills curriculum gives students free, project-based video lessons to build the skills they’ll need for digital jobs.
